The Asylum Seeker Resource Centre, in the suburbs of Melbourne, Australia, advocates on behalf of people seeking asylum, who are in great financial need because they are not allowed to work and are often not eligible for income support payments.  They have raised money for a variety of causes but one of the most successful was to crowdfund over $150,000 Australian Dollars from 933 backers for a mobile food justice truck that sources food from local farmers and processors and sell it to asylum seekers at a 75% discount and to the general public at the same prices as local grocery stores.
