






THE CANADIAN SMALL BUSINESS RELIEF BOND
Canadian’s can invest in the Canadian Small Business Relief Bond. The Funds generated will be used to provide loans to many different local small businesses or social enterprises across the country that have been impacted by the Covid-19 crisis. The amount that you can invest depends on which of the following investor classifications apply to you:
Accredited Investor
If you are an accredited investor, you can invest as much as you want. To qualify as an accredited investor, you must generally meet one of the following criteria:
- As an individual you earn an annual gross income of more than $200,000, or $300,000 with your spouse
- As an individual you have more than $1 million in net financial assets
- As a corporation that has more than $5 million in total assets
Other Investors
If you do not meet one of the above criteria, you can still invest but only to a maximum of $5,000 per person.
