An alternative would be to put in concrete rectangle stepping stones that would not interfere with the tidal flows.  The temporary “stepping stones” that are in place are dangerous and unusable at high tide. Many people enjoy walking along the Roberts Bay Beach and this would make it much easier.  Also, the trail around the creek through the woods to Mermaid Park is very difficult and dangerously slippery at times.
