Social Inclusion

I could save money by sharing more stuff with my friends and neighbours.

In Vancouver we have made a start at allowing people to access cars (car sharing), bikes (public bike share programs), tools (Vancouver Tool Lending Library), office space (numerous co-working spaces) and community gardens but we could collaboratively share so much more (e.g. with neighbourhood sharing sheds to access lawn mowers, pressure washers, extra pairs of skiis).  The more we are able to share goods and services, the more we can build community and the more we can reduce our living costs but switching from asset heavy lifestyles to asset light life styles.
