Invite artists to paint grey walls of the SFU.

SFU is well known for being a very grey university. Some people recall prison, others grim old Soviet Union Style.

In any case, there is a good option to change it. Invite painters who does street art/graffiti and give them a free canvas. Probably only funding you will need to provide is paint.

If you would not like it – it can be made a yearly contest. And for a whole year university will show a huge diversity of art styles.

Talking about diversity – you can invite multiple artists from an underrepresented groups to show their work and support multiculturalism.

Thank you.
