Launch an aquaponics and greens gardening business
This idea is to raise funds to set up an aquaponics and greens systems to grow fish and salad greens and sell them to local residents, restaurants and/or food retailers. There are now a range of great books on how to set up an aquaponics system, the most popular of which is Aquaponic Gardening by Sylvia Bernstein. This idea could be funded as a rewards project where backers receive free fish and/or free micro-greens in return for their contribution.
