Sidney needs a fenced dog park on the east side of the highway.
There is currently no official dog park in Sidney on the east side of the highway. The only options are driving to the North Saanich dog park on Lochside or driving to the dog park on the west side of the highway near Reay Creek. It would be great to have one or two fenced dog parks within walking distance of residential areas. Potential locations could include part of Rathdown Park, Iroquis Park, or Resthaven park. Ideally one north of Beacon and one south of Beacon so that most people would be within walking distance of at least one dog park option.

Definitely agree, they would take traffic of Sidney streets if we didn’t have to drive to off leash parks.
