Long time residents of Sidney know where most convenient walk/bike pathways (ginnels) exist for shortcuts, but certainly not everyone is in the know. In the City of Victoria connector pathways are clearly marked in many areas with a directional signpost at the corner of the street where one may exist. These are simple signs that state “Connection” with a walk/bike logo adjacent pointing to the location of a shortcut ginnel.I feel that this would be a worthwhile project for the Town of Sidney to enhance the walkabilty/bikeabilty of our town.
